Stevens Easter Egg Surprises Short Review - Chloe Kim

Updated: Nov 1, 2022

At the Stevens Memorial Library, spring is filled with various activities and contests.

Running throughout the month of April, there is a contest called “Peep-o-Rama.” This contest, as the name suggests, involves an Easter treat that everyone is sure to have in their baskets this time of year…marshmallow chick Peeps! Participants are able to pick up a pack of Peeps from the library which they can use to create a book-inspired diorama. Later, the finished dioramas should be returned to the library for display and judging. The top winner in the adult, teen, and children categories will receive a gift card to Mad Maggie's Ice Cream!

-Peep Pickup: April 4th-11th

-Diorama Drop Off: April 18th-24th

-Judging: April 25th-29th

-Winners Announced: April 29th

Secondly, on Wednesday, May 11 at 6 p.m. The library is holding a "How to Be a Dungeon Master" program. For those who are interested in Dungeons & Dragons, this is the perfect opportunity to learn how to run a campaign like a pro. This event will run from 6 - 8 p.m. and is for teens in grades 7-12.

Stevens Memorial Library has planned active events for a variety of ages this spring, so please stay tuned for interesting events to come in the near future and good luck to those entering the contests!
